What are the processing methods of aluminum alloy forgings?
The mechanical properties of aluminum alloy forgings can be improved by heat treatment and surface treatment to meet the requirements of the conditions of use. Different use environments also put forward clear requirements for the treatment of aluminum alloy forgings. Aluminum alloy forgings must also have certain mechanical properties, which is the basis for realizing the use value of aluminum alloy forgings. Today we will look at several commonly used stainless steel processing methods. It is precisely because of the different processing methods that different shapes of aluminum alloy forgings are formed. 1. Milling The milling cutter rotation is the main movement, and the aluminum alloy forgings and milling cutter are the feed movement. Milling is one of the main machining methods for flat surfaces. When milling, the rotation of aluminum alloy forgings and table milling cutters is the main movement. 2. Broaching Under the action of tensile force, the broach is used for axial movement to machine the inner and outer surfaces of aluminum alloy forgings. Using a multi-tooth broach, the extremely thin metal layer is cut from the workpiece layer by layer, so that the surface reaches a higher A accuracy, so that the roughness value of the aluminum alloy forgings is smaller. 3. Drilling The drilling tool moves relative to the aluminum forging and is fed axially. The method by which a forge processes holes on aluminum alloy forgings. Drilling is the most basic hole processing method in the processing of aluminum alloy forgings. 4. Turning Aluminum alloy forgings take rotation as the main movement, and turning tools are the cutting method of feed movement. The main movement of turning processing in forging plants is the rotational movement of aluminum alloy forgings, which is especially suitable for the processing of aluminum alloy forgings such as rotating face wheels and shafts. The linear motion of the tool is the feed motion. 5. Grinding The abrasive rotates at a high line speed, and the forge works on the surface of aluminum alloy forgings. Tools that are usually processed using abrasives are called grinders. During the grinding process, the self-sharpening effect of the grinding wheel is the cutting edge of ordinary tools that other knives do not have. 6. Boring The main movement of cutting processing is the rotation of the boring knife, which is the cutting processing method of aluminum alloy forgings or the feed movement of the boring knife. Boring processing is mainly carried out on milling machines and boring machines. Boring is the drilling of stainless steel forgings for further processing. Boring can expand the aperture, improve accuracy, reduce surface roughness, and better correct the deviation of the original hole shaft. Boring can be divided into coarse boring, semi-fine boring and fine boring. 7. Planing Planers and aluminum forgings perform relatively linear reciprocating movements in the horizontal direction. Planer is one of the main methods of plane machining, and it is the most commonly used processing method for small batch production of aluminum alloy forgings. Common planer machines include bullhead planers, double planers and grooving machines. For the above commonly used processing methods, forges will adopt different processing methods according to the different shapes required to produce aluminum alloy forgings. There are many processing methods for aluminum alloy forgings. Although these methods differ in their treatment principles, they still have much in common. The difference is that the cutting movement form of aluminum alloy forgings is different. Causes and Solutions of Spray Amplitude Defects of Automatic Spray Gun

As a commonly used spraying tool, automatic spray guns may encounter various usage failures in daily use. I often have friends tell me that the automatic spray gun is not working properly again. Now, let's talk about the common spray width defects of automatic spray guns and corresponding solutions. 1、 Spray defect: spray deformation Reason: The air holes (fan-shaped holes or auxiliary atomization holes) on the hood are blocked by dry and solid paint, causing abnormal airflow to deform the spray amplitude; Incorrect inlet air pressure (too high/too low), causing the spray amplitude to be disconnected or too small. Solution: Follow the cleaning instructions to clean the air holes on the spray gun and hood; Adjust the intake pressure of the spray gun to normal air pressure. 2、 Spray width defect: narrow in the center of the spray width, large at both ends Reason: The viscosity of the paint is too low, and the paint viscosity does not match the spraying pressure; The spraying pressure is too high, and the pressure of the fan-shaped hole is too high, which causes the central depression of the spraying amplitude; The atomization hole is blocked, which causes relatively more air to flow into the fan-shaped hole, causing the center of the spray amplitude to sag. Solution: Adjust the viscosity of the paint or use a suitable caliber nozzle; Adjust the normal intake pressure of the automatic spray gun; Use suitable cleaning tools to clean the air holes in the hood, and replace the nozzle kit if necessary. 3、 Spray defect: The paint is concentrated in the center, and the spray cannot be dispersed Reason: The spraying air pressure is too low, and the air pressure of the fan-shaped hole is too low to press out the fan surface; The viscosity of the paint is too high, and the air pressure in the fan-shaped hole is not strong enough to press the high viscosity paint into a fan-shaped surface; The nozzle is damaged and the spray amplitude adjustment knob is not turned on. Solution: Adjust the normal intake pressure; Adjust the viscosity of the paint or use a nozzle with a suitable diameter. If the nozzle is damaged, the nozzle kit should be replaced; Check if the spray amplitude adjustment knob is fully open. 4、 Spray defect: The spray is bent in a banana shape Reason: One side of the fan-shaped hole is blocked or deformed, and the pressure of the fan-shaped holes on both sides is inconsistent; The blockage of the atomization hole causes air to flow into the fan-shaped hole, resulting in an increase in air pressure on one side of the fan-shaped hole. Solution: Use a dedicated cleaning kit to clean the hood of the automatic spray gun, and replace the nozzle kit if necessary. 5、 Spray defect: The wet area in the spray is biased to one side Reason: Blockage or deformation of fan-shaped holes or atomization holes, resulting in uneven airflow causing the atomized paint to lean to one side; The nozzle is damaged, and the gap between the central atomization hole of the hood and the nozzle is uneven, causing the atomized paint to lean to one side. Solution: Use a dedicated cleaning kit to clean the hood, and replace the nozzle kit if necessary. 6、 Spray defect: The spray width is twisted, inclined, or S-shaped Reason: The fan-shaped holes are blocked or deformed, and the diagonal fan-shaped holes on both sides are blocked or deformed, causing the spray width to tilt. Solution: Use a dedicated cleaning kit to clean the hood, and replace the nozzle kit if necessary. 7、 Spray defect: discontinuous spray, bouncing Reason: The nozzle of the automatic spray gun is not tightly installed, the nozzle and air distribution ring are not completely sealed, and the air runs into the paint passage; The nozzle or air distribution ring is not cleaned thoroughly, and paint residue prevents the nozzle and air distribution ring from being completely sealed; The damage to the sealing surface of the air distribution ring affects its sealing with the nozzle; The vent of the gun pot is blocked, which creates a vacuum and sucks air from the nozzle into the paint channel. Solution: Use an original wrench to tighten the nozzle, use a dedicated cleaning kit to clean the nozzle, and replace the air distribution ring. Clean the vent hole of the gun pot and replace it if necessary.
